Nabalasere Waterfall Tour
Nabalasere village is beautifully placed amid neatly tended gardens with all the houses painted in natural surrounding colors of mint green shade.
As you arrive at Nabalesere village in the foothills of the Greater Tomanivi area, the villagers will perform a Sevusevu(welcome yaqona ceremony) and then your local tour guides from the village will take you along the 1 km track to the waterfall (depends on weather conditions, this track can be slippery and appropriate footwear is recommended). You’ll hear the sounds of the beautiful Fiji waterfall before you reach it and will come across the curtain raiser where the jungle parts to reveal a smooth, deep swimming hole scalloped out of the rock by the water. As you climb a little higher around the corner, the massive falls are revealed, tumbling down nearly 70m into a huge pool. It’s an extraordinary view and you’re free to jump in for a swim or if you’re brave to walk along the bottom of the cliff and stand behind the thundering curtain of water.
